About the Christmas Market 2021
Christmas Pottery Market was held on Sunday 5th December 2021. The weather was perfect and many visitors came out to find their love pieces. What will be better to see the stallholders’ smiles from good sales results?!
“This was my third time as a stallholder at the CPA Christmas market and I had a great time chatting with other potters and people interested in pottery. It was fantastic to meet people of all ages who are enthusiastic about handmade local pottery and hopefully a few of them are inspired to sign up for a class and make some of their own! A big thank you to the other stallholders and the organizer that made the market a success!” ~ Meredith Leutzinger

CPA Raku Group
A Very Successful Raku Firing
Thanks to Hugh Rickard for your guidance, expertise, and knowledge sharing a very successful Raku firing recently, not leaving out the strong backup team, placing wet newspapers, sawdust, shredded newspaper & relining bins. Approx 12 firings with start time 10-00 – 2.30 pm. Pleasant surprises with great outcomes. Fantastic company, delicious shared lunch & of course coffee.
Mould Making Workshop
Mould Making Workshop with Amy Michaels
We got down and dirty, we had plaster on our hands and luckily no disasters on the floor! So everyone was able to take a mould home if not two, with enough experience to make more. Not
only did we make press moulds, but we utilised our time and scraps to make stamps and sprigs.
Students were pleasantly surprised by how much detail is picked up of the model. Everyone had a productive and very enjoyable time.
